I've known Julie Cain for almost 15 years.  When we first met in San Francisco thru my wife, I didn't even know she sang and wrote songs and didn't find that out until we both moved to Los Angeles when she started doing a kitsch country live act called "Bitsy Lee and the Bitter Three."  At some point I offered to co produce her debut ep with my friend Geoff Walcha and the result was Interstate Hum.  The ep has three of my favorite drum tracks I have ever recorded.  "Who's Blue?" "Stranger" and "Will It Be You."  Interstate Hum also features some of the best guitar playing I have ever witnessed being recorded by an old friend Stuart Mathis, who has played for years with Jewel, The Wallflowers, Five for Fighting and many many others.

I continue to play in Julie's live band and we play many shows in and around Los Angeles so keep checking back to gregeklund.com to get all the info on upcoming shows.
